Migraine & wellbeing
Stress and anxiety are well recognised migraine triggers and it is unsurprising that migraine tends to be most prevalent in adults between the ages of 20 and 40 when people are going through the busiest period of their lives. Living with migraine presents many challenges and the unpredictable nature of migraine can take its toll on those living with it as well as their family and friends. While the Migraine Helpline (1850 200 378) exists to provide information and support, other support services may be helpful for coping with the issues presented by migraine.
The MyMind organisation was a fellow winner of a GSK Ireland IMPACT Awards 2015. MyMind was founded in 2006 to help make mental health services accessible and affordable to everyone. MyMind is a social entreprise which means any revenue generated goes back into making their services available to more people.
