Become a ‘Supporter of MAI' today
There are over 500,000 people suffering from migraine in Ireland. The impact of migraine also extends to a much wider group of people including family members, health professionals, employers, etc. From the initial pioneering work of the founder members of MAI and the ongoing support of new members over the years, the Association has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the leading patient support organisations in Europe - providing high quality information, support and reassurance to thousands of migraine sufferers and those in contact with them. As we look to the future expansion of MAI services, we are now looking at developing a broader support base for the organisation.
So why not play your part and become a ‘Supporter of MAI'? This is open to all migraine sufferers and anyone with an interest in supporting the work of MAI. Each ‘Supporter' (or member) will receive:
- Membership of the Association
- Our quarterly BrainStorm newsletter (see link above)
- Our regular e-zine
- Notification of events
- Discounted or free entry
- Access to the member's area of our website
You can pay by credit card, cheque or money order by simply filling in the membership form. You can also join online by clicking here. However, to make payment easier, reduce administration costs and continue to retain our support base we are now encouraging supporters to set up a monthly or or annual Standing Order payment rather than pay a yearly subscription (click here to see details of what your contribution can finance).
Whether you are a former member, someone who contacted us in the past or this is your first time on the website, we would now urge you to join our ‘Supporters of MAI' campaign. Through your continued support we can highlight and respond to the needs of migraine sufferers and their families across Ireland in the future.
