The Waterford Healing Arts Trust is currently running Hide & Seek II, an exhibition of artworks by migraineur Margaret O'Brien Moran.
The event was launched by Donna Walsh, Information Officer with the Migraine Association of Ireland [MAI], at the WHAT Centre for Arts & Health, Waterford Regional Hospital.
In the words of the artist Margaret O'Brien Moran, "the aim of this body of work is to provide an insight into the subjective world of the migraine sufferer. Having suffered from migraine for over 40 years the images draw on my personal diary and experience. By illustrating the visual disturbances of classical migraine, the images set out to reveal that which is normally hidden, the migraine experience from within."
Ms. O'Brien-Moran's work was previously on display at the MAI's inaugural art exhibition last August.
Hide & Seek II will be on view until the 2nd September.
