Research & Studies

Over the past ten years, research into the condition of migraine has increased. No longer is migraine seen as a vascular disease, but as a complex neurological condition. Studies have focussed on all aspects of migraine - from medications to quality of life to consequences and co-morbities.

Below, we have divided the most relevant and recent migraine research into a number of categories. Have a read, you might find something that will help you to manage your migraine.

Disclaimer: Please remember that some of these studies need further exploration. The Migraine Association of Ireland were not involved in any of these studies and is simply reporting the results. For further advice, please contact a medical professional.
